La Mamas and La Papas: An Exaltation of Queer
In the fall of my senior year, I had the distinct pleasure of working with a few of my closet peers to bring an idea of mine to life. Inspired by the work of queer theatre houses La MaMa and Cafe Chino, An Exaltation of Queer is a one-act, devised theatre piece combining poetry, spoken word, improv comedy, and immersive theatre to share complex and moving stories of queer expression through the eyes of our ensemble.
While the show has the ability to change and be fresh each time, and transcend a multitude of performing environments, the heart of the piece remains. I hope to continue exploring this show and bringing it to venues across the city in the next few years.

Music Video Direction
I Found: The Short Film
For the past few years, I have served as the Creative Director for the Hofbeats, a mixed-voiced acapella group from Hofstra University. In addition to soloing in this song, I also had a vision for a visual narrative to accompany it. Along with my close collaborator and co-director Lucas Peppin, I wrote, directed, and acted in the film. The short film details my personal experiences struggling with sexuality, community and self-acceptance, and religion. The story is very near and dear to my heart, and it is my proudest work to date.
The Hofbeats: Paint It Black
In addition to creating the short film above, I soloed, and orchestrated the concept, costumes, and set for The Hofbeats multi-award-winning 2021 ICCA Competition video. I love creating a tone and aesthetic for every project I work on, and having a hand in both the performance and technical aspects of making art is something I strive to continue into my career.
The Hofbeats: Hollywood's Bleeding
This was the first music video I have ever had a hand in directing and producing. This was The Hofbeats' very first music video, filmed during heavy covid restrictions- but we still pulled it off despite the obstacles, We started from humble beginnings, but its amazing to see how far the group has come. It was such a fun experience to expand my career portfolio! Hope you enjoy :)

The Hofbeats: 2020/2022 ICCA competition sets
Are you picking up on the trend here?
I love the Hofbeats and I have devoted muchhh of my collegiate career to working for the group. In addition to directing our recent music videos, I have also worked as the choreographer for our ICCA live sets for the past three years. I began in 2020 with our BELIEVE set and reprised my role with our first live competition since then: our 2022 RATTLE set.
